✏️ Just a Few Weeks Ago…

Just a few weeks ago, I had no idea how to make an app.
I love planners, organizing, and anything that helps me manage my time better – but I couldn’t find anything that truly worked for me.

So I decided to create my own app.
No programming knowledge.
No big budget.
Just an idea, a bit of motivation, and a whole lot of “let’s just try and see what happens” energy. 😄

And that’s how Flowelle was born – a simple, elegant planner app.

🔧 What is Flowelle?

Flowelle is a visual planning app that:

  • Helps you organize your daily tasks

  • Supports cycles and habits

  • Can be used on mobile, desktop – or even printed out!

💡 How I Made It

I used the platform Lovable, which lets you build apps without code. Here’s a quick breakdown of the process:

  1. The idea & sketch – I started by focusing on what I wished my calendar could do

  2. Design in Lovable – I added elements like buttons, task lists, and visual cards

  3. Database connection – I used Supabase for user login and data storage

  4. ChatGPT helped guide me whenever I got stuck (hi! 👋)

  5. Testing & tweaking – I tested everything on mobile and kept refining little by little

  6. Shared with friends – I sent them the link to check if it worked for them

  7. Ran out of Lovable credits, so I learned GitHub and VS Code to make updates on my own – with lots of help from ChatGPT

  8. Launch! – Now the app is live and free to use by anyone!

📲 How to Use Flowelle

Flowelle is a web app — so you don’t need to install anything.
But if you’d like, you can add it to your phone’s home screen and use it just like a regular app!

👉 Open flowelleapp.com in your browser and tap:

  • "Add to Home Screen" (Android – Chrome, iPhone – Safari)

🎨 How It Works

Once you open Flowelle, you can choose colors in the settings to represent specific reminders.
The calendar will visually adapt and show you, at a glance, which days have reminders – or use colors to hint what they’re about (like cycles or habits).

Your reminders will appear below the calendar and when you open a specific day.
You can print weekly, daily, or monthly layouts, and there’s space for handwritten notes if needed.

Flowelle will continue to grow – and soon, I plan to release it on Google Play as well!

🙋‍♀️ You Can Do It Too!

If you have an idea but think you don’t know how to code – trust me, you don’t need to be a developer.
With the right tools and a little persistence, you can build your own app, just like I did with Flowelle.
